The "Fabbri per l'arte" Prize 2012: lots of stunning artworks on display!
The "Fabbri per l'arte" Prize is back once again with its 4th edition. Two years have already gone by since the last edition and now all eyes are on the talented young artists who have chosen to pay homage to our company with this initiative, which takes place every two years.
The exhibition will be held from 28 January to 28 February 2012 at the Accademia delle Belle Arti (Fine Arts Academy) in Via Belle Arti in Bologna, with the show entitled “Un secolo e 7”, curated by Alberto Agazzani. Like the previous editions, all the works, whether by up-and-coming young artists or well-known figures, are inspired by the symbols of our company (especially the Amarena and its famous white and blue jar), reinterpreting them using a variety of artistic techniques, including photography, sculpture and painting.
The event will take place at the same time as Arte Fiera, the international Contemporary Art Fair which is celebrating its 35th edition. The trade fair will also involve the whole city on the night of Saturday 28 January, with squares and museums (as well as our exhibition) open until midnight as part of the so-called “Art White Night”.
The three winners of the "Fabbri per l'arte" Prize will be announced at the opening press conference, on Sunday 29 January, which will take place at Art Talk at 4pm.
