Perhaps inspired by the forms of the Apennine mountains where he was born, Andrea Tamagnini began his rapid rise up through the world of pastry baking at an early age.
Born in Castelnuovo ne’ Monti (RE) in 1968, he began his rapid rise up through the world of pastry baking at an early age. At just 15 years of age, he starting working as an apprentice with a well-known bakery in Castelnuovo. After a few years, he was hired by another bakery to head up its pastry lab before taking over the business in 2006. He is a student of Christian Beduschi, world-champion pastry chef who was awarded the gold medal in Lyon in 1997, and has benefited from a great many one-on-one lessons with the great master.
