Guinness World Record-Breaking Pralines at Sigep 2012
The biggest cone in the world was a great success at Sigep 2011 and it was made official by Guinness World Records and decorated with Amarena Fabbri. Thanks to its originality, it also made it into the publication of the best Guinness World Records of 2011. This year, together with Mirco Della Vecchia, the plan is to create the biggest praline in the world. This delicious chocolate treat will be filled with Amarena Fabbri! The spectacular praline, which will weigh more than 500 Kg, will be presented on Saturday 21 January, in the Confectionery Pavilion dedicated to Cake Design (D1). This “big” surprise will measure 1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter, and will be dedicated to all the fans of amarena and everyone who comes to visit us at the 33rd edition of Sigep.
Once the record has been made official, the praline will be donated to the Community of Barefooted Carmelites of Arezzo where it will be cut up and sold in 100g bags. The proceeds will go towards the creation of a chocolate workshop destined for the rehabilitation and training of people with social problems.
